Wise Quotes Usually Spawn Others

There are so many wise quotes that one person may read or hear in one’s lifetime.  Some are famous; some are what their mothers or fathers used to say time and time again.  These quotes are often observations of the human nature, how to improve one’s life, or to seek enlightenment on a new subject.

One of the best wise quotes ever written is found in the Bible.   “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned, forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.”
~Luke 6:37~

This one wise quote has had so many more come after it.  For instance “Those whom live in glass houses should not throw stones.”  Or “Hear the pot call the kettle black” And my absolute favourite “Those who complain about this generation should first remember who raised it.”

Another wise quote was from one of the greatest presidents of the United States.  “Good things may come to those who wait, but it is only the things left behind by those who hustle.” That President was Abraham Lincoln.  This would definitely have to be one of the wisest quotes ever.  President Lincoln was obviously trying to motivate and inspire the people of America.  When you think about it, this quote is incredibly true.  What will you get from life if you spend it laying about waiting for something to happen when you could go out and get it yourself.

One of the greatest of wise quotes also comes from the Bible.   It is one of the best quotes for someone to truly live their life by and create a truly good life for themselves.  The quote is “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  (Matthew 7:120)

No matter where you go or what you do in this lifetime that one very wise quote will get you everywhere.  To treat people as you would like to be treated will result in living a very happy life.   This particular quote has exploded into becoming many sayings.   For instance; “what goes around comes around.”  “You only get out what you put in.”    “You will attract more flies with honey than you will with vinegar.”  The list continues.

The best of the wise quotes is “evil prevails when good men fail to act.”  It not only speaks for itself, but worth keeping in mind.
