There are so many wise quotes that one person may read or hear in one’s lifetime. Some are famous; some are what their mothers or fathers used to say time and time again. These quotes are often observations of the human nature, how to improve one’s life, or to seek enlightenment on a new subject.

This would definitely have to be one of the wisest quotes ever. President Lincoln was obviously trying to motivate and inspire the people of America. When you think about it, this quote is incredibly true. What will you get from life if you spend it laying about waiting for something to happen when you could go out and get it yourself.
One of the greatest of wise quotes also comes from the Bible. It is one of the best quotes for someone to truly live their life by and create a truly good life for themselves. The quote is “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” (Matthew 7:120)
No matter where you go or what you do in this lifetime that one very wise quote will get you everywhere. To treat people as you would like to be treated will result in living a very happy life.
